To all who have served for the country:
Thank you.
Without you, life would not be as we know it today,
Nor would it be as safe as it is now.
Perhaps this is not a happy occasion for you,
With many of your comrades living in your memories,
But I am grateful-
For the sacrifices,
For your part in creating the present.
