It is ridiculous,
But it has been proven time and time again.
Strange, isn't it?
That such a simple thing
Can bring the strongest to their knees.
Yet this simple thing called 'love'
Blinded so many people,
Coercing them to do the impossible.
Love has reasoning jumping out the window,
Leaving people vulnerable-
To be lured in by the guise of Love.
Who will be there
To snap them out of this trance-
Why, none other than harsh Reality.
And I sincerely hope Pandora's box is forever closed,
Because Hope always prevails
Even to Love's acts of cruelty.
