Why?

Why are you crying? Are you feeling sad? But if you are then why is it that you have a smile on your face? How is it that you are happy while you are feeling sad at the same time?

Those endless tears that are flowing down your cheeks break my heart. No matter how many times I try to wipe them away with my fingers, tears would still fall from your eyes. How much does it hurt? Because it pains me to see you like this.

I feel helpless.

No matter what I try to do to ease your suffering, it seems I am only making it worse. What can I do to help?

I feel so utterly confused.

I see in your eyes the pain that you are withholding. And yet, a smile is adorned on your lips. Are you trying to hide your pain away from me? Your mask is already wavering; its shattered pieces would soon reveal your true pain.

Please let me help.

Your eyes that has shined so brightly with happiness are now dull with your pain. Won't you let me take it?
