To my friend and inspiration, Brianna:

I won't forget-
The first day we met,
When we were introduced by our friends.

From that day on-
I still remember your shy smiles,
Every time I greeted you.

I won't forget-
The first time I made you laugh,
When we talked over silly things.

To this day-
I can still hear that tinkling bell,
That I know as your voice, in my head.

I won't forget-
Those times you made me feel joy,
When we spent a few, long hours together.

Even as time passed-
I still feel that faint, bubbly feeling,
That I came to associate with you.

And I won't forget-
Our last day together,
Before you moved out of my life.

Because at that moment-
You became a part of my memories,
Someone who I will never see again.

But no matter what happens,
I will never forget,
That you were in my life.
